Any feedback about the site?

Now that I gotten some time on my hand I was able to view it for you as per request. :)

I love how simple it is to use and to view it's contents. As well as where everything is as well.

All I would suggest that you...

Possibly add tutorials for dealing with Linux and other open source platforms that Kodi may be installed on. As typically people who are users of open source applications will be using similar OSes.

Finally an SSL will be nice and actually secure your Google (and I bet other engines too) ranking. As Google will actually DE rank websites with NO SSL. Does your provider provide you a mean to install one for free using Let's Encrypt or something like that?

I wouldn't be using the contact form without an SSL.

Unfortunately not enough providers are there for their customers when it comes to this. As they either too lazy to update their systems to support newer features and such. Or even bluntly up selling their customers on the "needs" of a dedicated IP and/or paid SSLs.

When unless your like Microsoft, a bank, or what not you don't NEED it. Not even a small online shop would need a paid SSL unless their annual risks are high enough to warrant requiring the warranty included with paid SSLs.

Every site should be on an SSL. Free or not, they should be.

Absolutely that exactly what I said on here. As Google will in fact punish a site for not having one should that be the case. All I was explaining that there STILL providers that still doesn't have free SSLs and/or server sided feature there to actually issue and use a free SSL for free.

... there is nothing stopping someone from renting a $5/mo VPS and running CertBot to do the job.

It's probably cheaper (in time) to do that on a cron than it is to try to explain to the likes of HostGator that they need to update their CPanel.

I disagree, it like having to bring your own ketchup to enjoy your burger at a burger shop...

Shared hosting in my opinion is website hosting and that's it. Not much complications beyond putting your website online.

If I would has to drag out a VPS and "feels for the controls" in it, then I would take my business "to go". I would not be surprised if many other shared hosting clients agree with my logic regarding this.

My hosting is HostGator and unfortunately they don't provide free certificate.

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this. I am sorry to see that your provider does not supply this in order to do this. :(
I would highly recommend you changing providers as they are part of EIG take over. So they are no longer as the HostGator as they once were. Many other "big box" brands were taken victim as well including but not limited to A Small Orange and Site5. :(

I'll do a review after work and I crack a cold one with myself.
A Small Orange and Site5. :(
I'm not sure why, but it made me happy when you brought up "A Small Orange." I actually hosted with them a couple times but I didn't know anyone else in the world knew about them! lol Guess they call you HappinessGuy for a reason

They had hit the fans awhile back during the "take over" process. A bunch of "managed" VPS customers gotten screwed over for quite awhile (I think something like 5 days). As like you they didn't see it coming but that just proves how "evil" EIG is... :(

I made many improvements to the site:
  • Place the search box at the header
  • Created a new logo
  • Added a new button "Start Learning Kodi"
  • Improved the layout and colors of the site
  • Added new categories and tags
  • Added many new tutorials
I hope it looks better now
