Kids should experience retro gaming on the original hardware

I love retro gaming. And I am so happy that current gen consoles are bringing back classic retro games and allowing a new generation to take a look at them. Because we know most kids these days aren't gaming on retro hardware. But, I kind of wish they would. Reason why, is because when you can play most of these games on current gen consoles and pc, you can sometimes have extra options, like Nintendo Switches rewind option for their retro games.

Back then I didn't have that option, and I think kids these days got it too easy. They don't have to experience the endless amounts of times I had to replay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES, or Rampage, or any NES game, or cart game for that matter.
