Is WordPress good for e-commerce?

Is WordPress good for e-commerce? It is a great CMS for content management and social media integration, but is it good for e-commerce websites?

I think that there are some people that have used this in the past however I am not sure about the success rate that they have had with this. But i think that with teh right planning that it could be great.

Yes it is. I have created a lot of wordpress powered ecommerce sites for myself as well as clients and I never have had any issues. However, if you are planning something big, you might find limitations

Google ranks them high off the bat. So using them as a foundation for a store should give you a bit of a boost over using other software options. That being said, you will still have to put the work in if you want to see your store take off.

Google does not care about what software you have used when it comes to ranking, it does not care if you ar eusing woocommerce, shopify, big commerce, drupal commerce, or any thing else. It cares about SEO strategies implemented on the site
