I have a lot of old sites on the internet, most are down and lost to time, but there are some free forums I ran along with some free sites I set up that could still be up. Do you know of a way to find sites you used to run but no longer have access to?

I do.. you can't really do anything with them using this method but you can see pages from way back when you had the URL yourself and get to see your sites again even if they are lost. It's called Wayback Machine and it's a great site for you to be able to input the URL that you had and go back in time to see your sites again back when you owned them. I hope that helps :)

If you do not have access to the hosting account associated with your website or have website files and databse with you, you cannot get access to your old sites. I have sold a lot of sites and some owners decided to shut the websites, I wish I had saved these files while selling my websites.

I think that it all depends on the domain hosting and web hosting platforms. If you have made a website on a platform like Weebly, then I think that you can gain access.

there is a way you could access your old sites you made, there is a website called wayback machine that helps you to see the content of your website you posted that has been gone.

Reaching your old website is not easy seriously, you have to make sure you have have access to the site, by having the site log in details. I think this is the only way you can reach your old website.

You can access those websites created with free platform even after a long time. But I don't know about those created on paid platform. Once you know the platform you created the site with and the email you use. Just visit the platform and login, you'll see your old website there.

When a website is closed down, there's no how to get access to it again so I think there's a general control that switch off website to stop working. Unless the general control wish to make the website working then you will get access it's a code that makes website to work in great way.

If you intend to reach your old site or get access to it, it is not usually a stroll on the park, as you first need to reach out to your hosting provider to know if they kept a copy of your website backup.

This is truly amazing, one has to subject themselves to the knowledge of how these things operates before arriving at success in this endeavor. I admire your level of vastness.

If you have notning about that website there is no way for you to get it back so before sellung the website or closing downn you really need to think hard before doing it
