Multi-level marketing is considered a pyramid scheme by many people. It is rightly considered a pyramid scheme due to the fact that it involves selling products to people at a high cost and then abandoning the investor. The investor has a really harder time selling those products to other people. So, do you think that this could change?

MLM is banned in our country. However, there are many companies still working in this business model and common people continue to get scammed through this ponzi scheme. When the entire business model is scam, what changes can we expect in this business model?

I think that Multi-level marketing is mostly a scam, but it could change and evolve. Multi-level marketing refers to referring people and making them buy their products. There is nothing wrong with that. However, in most cases, multi-level marketing companies use deceptive ways to make people buy products. This should change.

Multi-marketing is not just about referring people and making them buy products. That would rather be affiliate marketing. MLM is a method where you make members, and every member has to make new members and you get products that you need to sell. You don't just sell products, you also need to make members. This business model is not about selling products but building a network of members the company makes money not by selling products but through membership fees.

If Multi-level Marketing (MLM) wants to change for the better, it should really amp up transparency and ethics. Companies need to be crystal clear about their products and how they compensate people. Shifting the focus to actual product value instead of just recruitment perks could make MLM more trustworthy.
