What is the ideal length of a blog post? Some people think, long articles are not good because readers find long articles boring, therefore, they do not read long articles. However, some people think long articles are the ideal length for a blog post because you can provide a lot of information, and search engines also love your long articles.

It depends if the blog post is talking generalities then 100-word article is enough or if detailing technical terms then 500 words article is appreciable because it needs more explication.

I think the length of a blog post must be at least between 500-1000 words. But it shouldn't be written like an essay or with long paragraphs. Sentences must be short, with some gap between lines, and each paragraph must be of 2-3 short sentences. So, that the readers don't find it boring or lengthy.

Reading articles that are very long can be very tedious and people generally don't have a very long attention span and as a result it is important that I think it stays under 200 words because that should be enough in order to get the message across and at the same time not lose people.

If you look at the top search results, you will see most of the high-ranking articles are long. It is true that people have short attention, however, if they find what they are looking for they will take a moment to read the entire content.
