I got security problems with my laptop.

So anyway I want to prevent viruses, but I kinda still want to download some torrents, is there a middle way? Where I don't get more torrents and malware and manage to download whatever I want?

I thought I'm already secure with merely my firewall alone but I was wrong. It was late until I found out that I'm under attack. I learned my lesson the hard way, no I'm using Mcafee to protect my files.

I use the default antivirus that comes standard with Windows 10. Just ensure you have it on the default settings. That will ensure moderate protection that will allow you to access torrent sites but still have a decent level of security on your laptop. Also, you can consider copying the magnet link address instead of download torrent files directly to your laptop.

I think that if you are able to pay for the torrent client that you have then it should come with a sort of scanner or antivirus to make sure tat teh torrents are safe.
