Agreed. But your deals, contests, etc. also need to reach a lot of people for sales generation. YOu can reach people only when you have a lot of followers. If you do not have a lot of followers, you will have to lunch an ad campaign.

I think Facebook marketplace is the best place to advertise your products and you are going to generate so much sales
 
There is a portal on Facebook where we can sell our products. If you are already there, other members will automatically invite you to join in a group chat. There are displays of items seen on that portal.
