well, I think that to survive an extreme crisis the first thing that should have been done is to have prepared previously, and saved enough money for when such a moment arrives, crises are cyclical and at any time one can arrive, either mild or severe, on the other hand, you have to try to maintain employment and have alternative sources of income which will relieve you while the chaos lasts, Since in case you lose your job you will always have your other sources of income.
