Currently, the importation business is not performing that well in my country. This is because the government is not able to issue letter of credit to importers and other businessmen.

Starting up an importation business is a very lucrative business. I reckon that you should gain sense of the intricacies of the business so that you would not risk your money and you must ensure to recieve licence from the government.

Right now the importers in my country are suffering due to lack of foreign exchange. This kind of business could be lucrative but it depends on the economical conditions of your country as well..

This type of business would really take up so much resources but the bottom line is that it's possiblity for success is actually high. You would first need to connect with other importers.

Importation business requires you to get a license and getting a license is a very hard thing. Apart from that, importing the right kind of product is also quite important as well. You could also import medical products as well.

Research Start by researching the products you want to import and the markets you want to sell to. Look into the demand for the products, as well as the competition and pricing.
Find Suppliers: Look for reputable suppliers who can provide the products you want to import at a competitive price. You can find suppliers through trade shows, online marketplaces, and industry associations.
Understand Import Regulations: Make sure you understand the import regulations for the products you want to import, as well as any taxes or tariffs that will apply.
Secure Financing: Consider how you will finance your business, whether through personal savings, a small business loan, or other means.
Create a Business Plan: Write a business plan that outlines your goals, target market, competition, and financial projections.
Get the necessary documents ready: Ensure you have all necessary documents like import/export license, customs clearance, logistics and shipping documents ready.
Market your product: Promote your product through various marketing channels and build a strong customer base.
Maintain good relationships: Maintain good relationships with your suppliers and customers to ensure a steady supply of products and a steady demand for your goods.
Note that this is a general guide and for more specific information on import regulations, taxes, and tariffs in your country, it is best to consult with a local lawyer or import/export expert.

You're right about this. Getting a license is actually a very difficult thing to do and from a similar experience I would say that it would seem to you as though they are delaying and stressing you out on purpose.

Personally, I think I would start the importation business and sell the products in my shop. That means I will have to set up my shop and learn the process of importation plus the best country and shops to import the products.

In order to get a license, you must have money because you must initially pay the fees for the license. The fee is quite high when it comes to starting a business. You pay the fee to the government.

Starting a product importation business involves several steps. First, you will need to research the market to determine the types of products you want to import and the suppliers you want to work with. Then, you will need to investigate the legal requirements for importing products into your country, as well as any relevant tax and customs regulations. Additionally, you will need to research the costs associated with importing, such as shipping and handling, and determine a pricing structure for your business. Finally, you will need to find buyers and create a marketing plan to promote your products.

It actually depends on the type of business that you're doing as it's more like registering your business. A roadside business will definitely spend less for it than a production industry just starting up.

There are many roadside businesses in my country. However, they are also being affected due to problems caused by inflation. Things are becoming quite hard for small businesses as well.

In recent times, I have noticed that the amount of people that visit even the restaurants are begining to grow thin and that could only be as a result of inflation. The prices for items these days ain't funny.

Well, there are still many restaurants that sell food for a low price. This is because they kn ow that if they start selling food for a really high price, then none of the customers would ever visit them.

That's not even the reason why any restaurant would sell food at a low price. The reason they would sell at a lower price is because they would still be getting profits from it, maybe because the quality of their food is really low.
