I have a large number of short domains, which are getting some traffic, but make no money. Does anyone know of any platform which I can use for renting the domains to cover the domain renewal fees?

I wasn’t even aware you could rent domains? I run a web host and never heard of renting them out. If I remember, I’ll do some research and see what I can find later on.

Nobody owns domain name, all domains are actually rented, when period overs, site owner need to pay again.
There is no technology which can let you have domain, Web3 domain Mining is diffrent, but I am not 100% sure with it

If you're speaking of it like that, then it is basically leasing the domain. I was thinking of the question as if we are leasing the domain and then renting it out to another party without transferring the domain.

Yo will never get refund if you choose to leave domain, no domain registrar will refund for it, because they did what you are talking about, they too do not own it,।
I am now trying to understand web3 domain, vwhere you can mine your domain and keep it or rent it.

Yes I was talking of leasing the domain to those who wish to use it, without transferring the domain out. The person inquiring is a small startup, they cannot afford to purchase the domain.

I suppose you could just have them pay you and you set the domain to their DNS settings. Other than that; that's about all I know as far as "automatic" lending.

You can't own a domain forever, so you cannot lend it too, normally people can do domain reselling, but cannot claim it back. ICANN owns domain, they actually rent it.

I do not have idea that one can rent a domain. Maybe it could happen if the real owner needs rests for some months or years, so he could invite domain renter. The rent fee depends on your agreement. There will MOA to prepare.

Not possible, there is no real owner, even mark Zuckerberg is changing domain from facebook to meta, because even facebook.com is not owned by him, all domains are owned by ICANN, it rents domain, which you can register with any domain registration platform

Wow, that is good to hear. I will try to find it out. I want to have my own blogsite but it requires a domain. Hoping this info could guide me.

Oh yeas, you may Reserch.
And when you plan to get a domain, be sure, it is not refundable in any money back policy, because it is rented by the registration site, no registration site own any domain, so get it anywhere (I suggest black friday).

Thank you so much for this very good information. I do remember this. Thanks once again.

That was my thought too and I've never heard of that done. I know domain flippers buy attractive domain names and then sell it later, but they do not rent it out.

I was talking about the option to change the DNS or name servers to what the client requires for a few months. Some startups cannot pay the market price for the domains, so renting for a year is a cheaper option for them.

There is no such option, domains are usually sold (rented) for one year and more, startups will get from anywher.

Why would people rent out your domains when they can buy domains for $10 (an average price for a dot com)?
