Website development courses are pursued by many people. These courses are important for people who would like to become web developers. However, finding the right kind of platform is very important. Suppose if a person wants to pursue such kind of course, then what platform would be the best one? Do you think udemy is a good platform when it comes to learning website development?

Well you have a few options. 1 - You could go to college for website development, but that would require you to take computer science, which takes ages to get through in the States. When I tried taking computer science for website design and coding, I needed to take a bunch of math courses, and I am not good at math. It was a reason why I dropped out.

Anyway, there are many sites to learn without having to go to college. Like @Good-Person said above, Udemy is a good platform to learn. But there are sites like Skillshare to look into as well.

First of all, you need to decide on a couple of things, such as how much time can you devote to learning, can you attend the local institute, how much money do you have for learning, etc. If you do not have a lot of money and do not have time to attend a real class room you can try learning online through youtube. The problem with youtube is finding appropriate content as with SEO even the low quality content can appear high on search result. IN a situation like this, I recommend Alison, a free learning site.

I was fortunate enough to have a community college in my area (I live in the U.S.) that straight-up offered a web design associate's degree and a web development certificate without nearly so much math. I would say that it's worth checking your local community colleges and technical schools for an easier course of study than having to go full-blown computer science.

Technical schools offer certificates in subtopics of interest to web designers and developers. For example, a local technical school in my area offers a certificate in cybersecurity, and people who understand that can obtain lucrative jobs.

Another thing I would recommend for more modern web technologies is the Fireship YouTube channel and the freecode camp one. The latter has coding tutorials that are several hours long that you can work through to learn web coding systems.
