A scam site is a kind of site that does not pay its users. When it comes to paid surveys, there are some chances that you may encounter a scam site. I have encountered one such scam survey site called AW Surveys in the past. So, what about you? How to spot a scam survey site?

To make their website seem genuine, fraudsters may use domain spoofing. To ensure that the URL corresponds to the website you believe you are viewing, carefully review it. On their fake poll websites, scammers frequently use awkward wording and poor grammar, which can be a dead giveaway.

To identify scam survey sites, you need to pay attention to the following ; lengthy pre-qualification processes. Some surveys might offer a reward but ask to pre-qualify the survey taker. Asking for payments, the reward for surveys completion is too good to be true, and no data privacy policy.

Some things are just too good to be true. Once a survey site is offering bogus amount for a couple minutes of survey, run!

Also, doing an online check of the survey site reviews will go a long way to saving one time and possible heartache.

Finally, you just may not know until you get to the payment threshold, request for your hard earned money only to be given some silly excuses or told to go do get 100 referrals before you'll be paid.

The number one thing I use to know scam survey sites is that it would be promising you unrealistic rewards. The second thing is that they would ask you to pay before you are being offered survey opportunities.

They often promise unrealistic results. Some surveys don't open, technical issues. poor design asking to invite people before you can withdrew fake payment proofs and more if you experienced, you don't need to have big brains to know which one is legit and not. You can also try to watch YouTube videos about them

The easiest way I have seen to know if a site is a scam or not in terms of surveys is by looking at the reviews on trustpilot, it is a good indication of how legal the platform is, although the survey panels do not usually have good overall ratings on trustpilot because there are many people angry about disqualifications among others, you can more or less intuit if it is legal or not, the ones that are not have hardly any positive reviews and it is very obvious that they are scam.
