Some bloggers just take website views so simple, just write great content and views will just start rolling In.

But it's not enough, great content isn't enough, you have to be proactive, one of the best way to increase your website traffic is by promoting it on social medias,

Not this isn't for traffic mainly, but for real link juice, I don't mean spamming.
web crawlers and all that go around social media sites, looking for website links to rank.
Web crawlers are like party crashers, a party of content and engagement is hosted, they come spying to see if they will be any links.
Note: if forums allow links on their platform you would be getting tons of link juice, yes some percentage of traffic but more link juice. Why? Because there is a party going on here. Valuable one.
So the point of this is to make sure you're active on googles favourite platforms

The best way to get more traffic to a website is through search engine optimization. If the website is ranked and optimized with different search engine, the blogger will definitely be getting free traffic

It is not that some bloggers just post articles to there blog and views comes in. They have first made lots of sacrifice before getting to that level. They must have invest in advertisement, SEO, social media marketing and many more before people start to know them for what they post. To be a successful blogger. One needs to be patient.

Yes, SEO is the only way to go.
But it still doesn’t hurt to post your blog link no matter where you are online, especially if you can find other people talking about the topic(s) you cover in your blog. You have a much better chance of getting more visitors and views + comments once you find your target audience on forums and social media.

Not all forums are really ranked by Google cause most contents are sometimes copied from elsewhere to be discussed.

However, in some cases, for sites to get that traffic, such sites need to have backlinks (sort of referrers) from sites Google term 'authority sites'.

Once people get to view your site from these authority sites, your site becomes an authority too in whatever niche you write in, which provides organic traffic through SEO rankings.

having the knowledge of search engine optimisation is very important for anyone who really wants to get organic traffic to his site. Promoting it on social media platforms is also very helpful.

Yes I understand you. I am only trying to let the newbies in blogging to know that it wasn't that they just got there but they made lots of sacrifice to get to that level.
Another way to get traffic is through advertisements, it reduces effort. but it is not as good as SEO or social media marketing.

I prefer getting traffic from social media platforms because it's easier and affordable. I prefer to set up a page for my website and direct traffic to it. Facebook and Twitter are the best.

If you will want to have top traffic to your site then you will have to use a combination of many sources like search engine optimisation and also social media.

When you read some post in how to generate traffic to blog website, you will see it as a very easy thing to do. But it is far very beyond that. For it is not easy at all. I have owned a blog website once and I have tried tips that I learned form some bloggers but it never worked for me.

In order to get more views on your website you need to publish content that is not published else where. In other words you need original and unique content. You also need to optimize your content for search engines.
