If you want to excel as an online writer, you will have to establish your authority. By establishing your authority, you can not only earn better but also gain recognition. You might not be able to establish authority just by writing articles and blog posts, however, authoring a book or ebooks can significantly enhance your reputation and recognition. People might never remember the name of the article writer, but they will certainly remember the name of the authors of books they've read. Writing and publishing books is a powerful method to establish your authority.
