Feeling anxious while running a business is a very common problem. Dealing with anxiety is a common thing. You may be suffering from anxiety in case if you are not generating enough sales or if your business is not proving to be profitable enough. Having said that, I think that being anxious is not the solution to the problem. If your business is experiencing a downfall, then you must do something and try to solve the problems instead of worrying too much. So, how do you deal with such kind of conditions?

If your business is not doing well if you are making losses, it is very common to have stress and anxiety. If you are in this situation, you will have to analyze the root of the problem, for instance, find out why your business is not doing well and why you are making losses. Once, you identify your problem, you would also be able to identify your solution.

If you don't take care of your health properly, it is always going to come in between your work which is going to make it difficult for you to give your very best in your business and that is most likely going to see your business drawback in a way you will find it difficult to meet your goals and objectives.

There was a program I used to watch on TV about 10 years ago and it's titled the same thing - "Health is wealth". It was from the program that I learnt how to start taking my health very serious. If you have all the money in the world with poor health, you won't enjoy it.

Anyone who's interested in becoming an entrepreneur but not willing and ready to take some losses is definitely never ready to start out his or her business. Business is all about profit and loss, if your only interested in profit, you're quite not ready to start. Feeling anxiety or depression can always be taken care of when you start making positive progress in the business.
 
Anxiety with work in general can be hard but it helps to have a place where you can just not focus on anything related to work. Give yourself time to just relax and not worry. Some people take one day a week to do this, others need an hour or 2 each day where they go undisturbed. Deep breathing and cutting back on caffeine can help too.
 
Anxiety will follow you no matter what you do, it just depends how bad it is that day. Personally when I get anxiety during my work, I will often take a little break, walk around a bit, maybe take a longer break and catch a show or movie. Sometimes taking time away from the stress can really help a lot.

But the hard truth of it all, is that any business is going to cause you some anxiety and stress. The best way of dealing with it is to take breaks, recoup, and get back in there.

If you can't handle the job, and the anxiety is getting worse, it may be time to consider a new profession.

Enjoying life without being healthy is something people would never wish for. People should understand that anxiety leads to an increase in hormones such as cortisol. This could lead to various health problems. This also may cause hindrance when it comes to making good business decisions.

This is actually the reason why I always make out time to go for proper medical check-up, physical and mental check up so that I will make sure that everything about my health is in good shape. It will make it easy for me to be able to run my business without having any complication that is going to twart the success of my business.
 
One thing I probably should start doing, is going for therapy. I have never went to therapy for my mental health at all, and have always went to a standard doctor to get medication or something. And that never worked for my anxiety.

Therapy is great if you're stuck and can't get through the anxiety.

Seriously mate, therapy is very good. I used to see it something that's reserved for mentally deranged persons but I was wrong. My first and second session opened my eyes to how good therapy can be very helpful in someone's life.
 
I think the first step would be for the person who's in this situation to understand that business is risk and so is other method of making money. All you have to do is to give it your best shot and if a business constantly bring anxiety, then it's probably not your type of business.

Before you can be able to understand the risk that is involved in any kind of business that you are running, you must have made a very good plan which you are executing in that business. This is something that is going to come into play whenever you are facing any kind of adversity and anxiety in that business as the plan will give you assurances the business will make it.

I work as a freelancer and as a paid poster. This means that I have to sit for very long time. I has been a while i have seen a doctor for a medical check-up. I think that people who have hard jobs need to take care of their health, especially if their job makes them anxious all the time.

It is not easy not to feel anxious when you are experi some business gluts. What are you going to do when you don't know whether you are going to make sales and with rising cost of production? I think we should encourage those doing businesses because it is never easy to survive as a business person when the business is not going well.

As you stated, it is quite natural for a person to experience anxiety. However, suffering from stress and anxiety will only make things worse. This is why taking stress will lead you to making bad decisions. Apart from that, it is also not good for your health either.
