How often would you say you have called in sick from work? I've not really called into work much, but when I did it was because I was far too sick to do anything. Sometimes you need to take time off and rest. What about you?

My boss is strict so I can't lie about being sick I'm not sick often so I don't miss a lot of days some people lie about being sick all the time to avoid work I enjoy working so I don't see a reason why should I do that

I've actually worked for a boss who doesn't care if you are sick or not and she will always deduct your salary if you miss work with the excuse of being sick unless you reported at the office and she sees it by herself that you are truly sick. She will refer you to the company's hospital.

Well, I have worked for a company that never used to allow workers to get a sick leave. They used to have a Whatsapp group of the company. In that group, certain employees used to ask for leaves and they were all rejected, even though they were not paying employees a good amount of salary!

This is the reason why I will always be on the lookout for a better-paying job because all this employees will always use you for their own gain and drop you whenever it doesn't suit them again. So as long as I find a better-paying job, I am always going to move to the new job.

In my last job, I was not absent even for a day, Interestingly, the job lasted only for 17 days. I had a fight with the boss, and I quit. Before that, I worked for 2 years as a manager in a store and I never took a sick leave. However, I did take a leave for personal emergencies.

The maximum which I can be ill in a year is twice. This have made it possible I don't call in sick at work often. It's once which I can recall calling in sick at work and I was right back at work in the next two days. My boss have been very happy about it.

I don't call sick from work unless the sickness is a difficult one that is holding me down at home. I believe that I can overcome most of the minor sickness in a matter of hours. So, unless when I am very down, I don't call in sick at work.

Being that I work for myself, if I ever fall ill I tend to look at my schedule and see whether I can take the time off to recover and take care of my health. Most of the time if I am feeling unwell, I will take the time out as health should always come first but if I can avoid the time off. I will.

Yes, you don't joke with your health in any way. It doesn't matter the kind of job you're having on your table, your good health comes first. Human beings have only one life and it's not open to be gambled with because of any kind of work.
