I recently put a marketplace thread on ForumPromotion attempting to sell some more unmetered hosting accounts.... Ace decided to ask who my provider was for my master reseller account. My provider is of good quality so I had no issue with sharing that via a PM...

What can other hosting providers, like ACE, do with that information? Should I have revealed the info at all?

Thanks!

If you don't inform a potential customer, they may look at you as a bit shady, and hesitate from buying from you. So you probably did the right thing.

Like Jordan said, its not that difficult to find out your master reseller host. Its better to reveal it than to hide it.
I know what you might be thinking. What if they start their own resellers using the info given by you?

Well, that could happen, thats why the market is always competitive! :p
