How much time do you spend visiting your website these days?

I used to visit my website a lot, at the very beginning but these days, I haven't been visiting it all that much. I have too many things on my mind and too much work as well, as I need to find a new job at the earliest, so I just can't spend too much time, at the moment.

What about you guys? Do you spend enough time visiting your website? Or would step in only if there are major changes(development or any other major work that needs your access)?

Leaving the website maintenance completely to other staff members...is that a good thing to do?
What are your thoughts about this matter?

I am very busy in real life and as such I do not even have a lot of time to be watching my everyday analytics but I always try to do an in-depth review at the end of every week.

That sounds like a good plan. I haven't done much for my website and it's an entertainment forum and it's a dying one at that. I really need to make good content to keep it alive or it will really die soon.

Sometimes, it's a pain to post new content all the time and my users don't post threads. However, they do post replies if they find the thread content interesting. So, it's hard for me to come up with new content all the time.

Hiring people is not a good solution either as I am jobless at the moment. So, until I get a job I need to make do with what I have in my bank account.
Anyway, is it possible to share tips regarding the analysis you mentioned? Would you go with premium website analysis tools for these reviews? Or would you go for any free tools? Could you please share the tool names as well? Thanks in advance.

i currently do spend a lot of time on my website on a daily basis, i just launched the website and you should understand how these things are, as a new site i am very much attracted to it.

I think having a website is just like having your own business to running on daily basis so I believe I will dedicate all time that I have for the success of the site without much regard for pleasure.

When I still have a website, I used to visit it everyday, at least once in a day. Unless you have staff, I don't think it's proper for you not to visit your site at least once in a day. To have a good website that would be bringing you money monthly, you need to invest money and time to it.

i do not have an online blog or website. If i had one, I would definitely spend time, as I spent a lot of time developing my blog and writing articles when I owned one in the past.

Blogs needs articles to develop but it's different when we are dealing with a forum. Even without our involvement, as long as we have loyal users, it will be able to generate activity.

I have a forum and usually I don't post all that much in my forum. However, when I get time, I will always post something or the other in it. I like to share things about me, in the forum after all.

Still, these days it's dying and if I don't post more and take precautions, I am afraid it will fall apart and it would be very difficult to revive a dead forum. Good luck with your blog and I hope it will get even more active in the near future :)

I created a blog a long time ago. It was definitely not a professional website at all. However, the content on that blog was really exceptional and research-backed as well. I stopped writing and promoting the blog because it would have taken a long time to market that blog and I never had time at that time!

Then I am the opposite of you! I spend a lot of time visiting my website these days. It's been my main platform for the last couple of years, so I've put a lot of effort into it. I'm always trying to improve my content and make it more engaging, so that people will keep coming back for more.

I think it's true that most people visit their websites less than they used to—nobody wants to be "that person" who keeps refreshing their browser every few seconds, but if you're not keeping yourself updated on what's happening on your own site, you're missing out on some good stuff.

I always try to incorporate some personal tidbits into my posts—if someone wants to know what the weather is like where I am or what kind of food I'm eating today (because I always post about that stuff), then maybe they'll click through. And when they do, there's a greater chance that they'll engage with the content as well because they feel like they know me better than just "some blogger."

i also put in the work as well, but in the future i am seriously thinking of outsourcing some of the jobs i do on the website to other individuals to assist me, due to the nature of my offline job.

that is if you start realising tangible profit from the website. That time you can have the money to our source for people who will do the jobs for you. But if you have not started making a lot of profit you do not need to hire people.

you only hire more hands when you are thinking of expanding your business, that is when your website is getting loads of traffic, that is only when you should consider hiring more hands for your website.

Currently I don't have a website but If i am to have one, i will spend as much as i can to see everything work in order. that's i will the whole of my time working on it. simply because it's a way of income generation.

Now I have team of writer so I spend less time thanks to Work to home kind of job means most of my time spend inside my home with my actual work so I hardly have time but still spend at least 1 hours day for my website.

I do spend a lot of time on my website every day. I just launched it, so you should understand how things are, and as a new site, I find myself drawn to it strongly.

i understand you, it is hard to ignore something that is new, but with time you would get over it and might decide to let somebody manage it for you on the long run, just structure the site properly.

I think if I will owned a website of myself, the best I can do is to visit at all time that is to say I won't have any time limitations to it but as much as I can.

I don't own a website yet. I feel website owners should ensure to visit their websites often. They shouldn't leave their websites to the care of other staff members because no one can take care of your website as much as you can.

Since the time I resumed school I quit logging to my website. I give much of my time on studies. For now Its getting to more than a month that I haven't log into it.
