How much parking should a business have for its customers? Is it even mandatory to have parking spaces?

In big cities, they don't care about having a parking space for the customers because a lot of people rely on public transportation. In small towns though, if you want the business, you need to have a place for them to park or they won't visit.

It is never a big deal since I've got customers that will always want to drive in with their cars and getting a space is crucial to them having a relaxed mind to come next time to buy from you. Is it a must? No, but it is something that you should factor into your business strategy when you consider those that are in the same business with you that have parking space for their customers.

Seriously, it is very necessary for a very big supermarket to have parking space for their customers. I know a lot of people who have packed their vehicles by the roadside trying to buy something from a supermarket that doesn't have a parking space, they ended up getting a parking ticket because they parked in a wrong place or some of them have their cars tampered with.
