How much do you put in your savings and how often?

I usually save at least 15% of my salary every month. If I don't save up to the 15% probably because of a heavy expenses, I would try to save at least 5%. There has never been any month I don't save from 5% of my pay upwards. I have a safe at home I casually drop in $10 whenever I have cash on me.
