How many threads should be visible on one page?

Is it too much. I have heard some people who complain about these kind of stuffs.
What do you think? Should we reduce it to say like 25 or something like that?

I thought we have never changed the default settings. Wasn't it the same like this from the begining?

For new forums around 10-15 should be sufficient or for less active forums because it won't look very active if a topic on page 1 hasn't had a post in a certain topic for say, a few months or so.

I usually leave it at its default setting, mainly because that's what the forum software authors have decided look the best. Unless it interfered with my theme's look, I would leave it that way

I personally think it should be 15-20 topics, anything smallers make the page look bare and more makes it look a little bit messy.
