I have a few sites in my arsenal, and many more to come, but I suspect I will be selling some off soon. I don't like to run too many sites at once, as it becomes quite stressful to have way too many to deal with. I like to stick with at most, 5 sites, and at least 3. I'm thinking of cutting back to just 3, so that I have it a lot easier, and can focus more on just those sites.

What about you though? Do you find it tough to run many sites at once?

Managing many sites at a time is just stressful for me. I will just handle one and build it up to have much more traffic. Make it an engaging one for visitors to relax and satisfy their curiosity, by reading about its contents. Just a blog site, Where i choose a particular niche to create contents from.

I do not have any websites and at this moment I am focusing on building one portfolio website for myself. I cannot imagine to own more than one website. I mean what is the point of building a lot of websites if you can do almost everything from one site.

It is very stressful as it is not easy to manage them all in one time and find quality content for your website as you always short on time and you can't spend 24 hours for your website. Many multi website owner creates bulk content and do content management easily.

Are you into website/domain selling that you are having lots of website to run? I think that if you are not into domain flipping/selling or a contract professional for managing site, then there's really no need to run many sites.

For me, anything more than 1 is too many sites to manage unless they are passive sites where you don't have to do anything to run them. I think you could probably get away with trying to run 2 sites but if you run more, it can just become too difficult. You will end up not giving enough attention to some sites and they will all end up failing.

Website management depends on the type of sites you have. If you have blogs, you may easily manage a dozen blogs, however, if it is a forum you might need at lest one staff member. For ecommerce site, you may need a lot of people/

According to my own point of view as an individual you can manage up to four website and also it depends on your ability to work hard. If you're an hard-working person you can manage more

Currently, I have 15 websites and I manage these websites alone. However, I do hire virtual assistants and writers time to time so that I can have extra hands to manage my sites

I'm a freelance writer who has previously collaborated with a variety of website owners, some of whom manage ten or more websites. Right now, I'm in charge of two sites, which I believe is the ideal number to handle. I suppose if you have the financial means to outsource your job, as my clients do, managing such a large number of sites would be easy.

It all depends on how capable you are and also how hard-working you are, some people can manage three sites but I see four site too much to manage

Managing a lot of sites could really be a workload. It can get very tedious. I strongly advise that it is better to hold onto 3 and be active than have way too much than you can handle

Depending on your ability and capabilitty, two or three sites are okay to handle so that one would be able to effectively carry out his activities very well.

Manage as much site as you think you can manage. If your strength and ability can manage fifty sites, why not. Go ahead and do your thing.

Its only fun when you have people managing it for you, but on the long run how profitable will it be to pay for their services, site management should be less taskful.

I think 4 to 5 site is too much to manage by one individual at least as an individual or owner of a site we can manage three sites and that will be very stressful all depends on your consistency dedication and hard work.

What type of websites do you have? Are they all blogs, or do you also have a forum and ecommerce site. I guess a forum and ecommerce site needs exra hands to manage.

I don't have much time to spend online due to my offline work as well. So I could only manage two sites I guess, which is bizdustry and forumcoin, although I registered on other platform but I don't open them anymore because of time I guess.
