As the old classic title says, are you hot? :p I mean what I should say is! how many domains do you have had and own in the past, and are they running?

What made you get that domain(s) and why, I even have people owning domains that never even get to use them and so have you? ever had domains that you never got to use them? where do you get your domains from?

I currently own one domain and for now I'll stick with just one. I used to own 2 and back then (20 years ago) that was a lot to own. I regret letting one of those domains go because I never considered that the easy to remember names would have a lot of value but those are hard to come by these days!

I own two domains at the moment, one for my general discussion forum and the other is for my portfolio site. I do manage two other domains for my dad but technically he owns them so I won't count them. I tend to always go for NameCheap for my domains unless someone else is offering cheaper registrations. I always end up transferring them to NC though as their renewals are cheaper than most.

Nice, Yeah I own two domains myself (some of you may already know anyway) and one is active for the last 5 years and the other older domain that I had for even years now was active but as time goes on and been there and done that, It became inactive. I still have the domain name but I just never used it for any other site. That reminds me that I need to redirect the domain to one of my websites since I just renew it and also have changed it to namecheap.

$20 for two years on namecheap is a good deal :) where on my other hosting account it's $18 a year.

I currently only own 1 domain which is the site I own and I use godaddy as the registrar. I used to own a bit over 5 but they expired and I no longer need them. Godaddy is the best registrar I think since propagation is almost instant. I may get some more domains at a later date. I had thoughts of making a site for the pokemon trading card game online but never made that a reality.

I currently own 2 domains, but only one is in use. They're both registered with IONOS, and are both hosted with the same account - technically speaking umbrella-online.co.uk is an extension of nerdface.co.uk, but it works!

I've previously owned (and let expire);
infiniteoblivion.com
umbrellaonline.co.uk
gamerseuphoria.com
gamingvoice.co.uk
gamingvoice.uk

In hindsight I could have kept a few of them and tried to sell them, but I can't really be bothered! I wish I'd kept umbrellaonline.co.uk now for obvious reasons, but in fairness I never expected to be reviving the project.

I have two domains and lately I have been thinking of, not renewing one of them.
I got both .com and .net variations when I registered them for the very first time and usually people make use of only.net variation. Like 3 months ago, I used to own 3 more domains but I gave up on them. I don't think anyone would want to purchase them and the renewal fee at GoDaddy is not cheap. Reselling domains is just not for me. I will probably give up the .com variation of the domain names, I own at the moment.

Domain speculators own many domains, except for a standard person one or 2 domains area unit enough.

Or you will solely use social networks. during this case, you don’t would like a website in the slightest degree.

I have dozen right now. Most of them are expired. I always buys new domain with the hopes that this time I'll surly do something big, but at the end i letting him expire

I had a total of three domains but one expired so at the moment I have two, one that I still invest in and work with every now and then and the other it is a goner, I will not continue investing after it expires.

Back then when I was still a webmaster, and was using wapka to create my html websites I own up to 5 domains, each having it's own unique visitors it's just so bad that the owner of wapka woke up one morning and decided to park out and living us the website owners with just a few days notice.

where to sell your domain names; when you park your domain name, by request they will put the domain name for sale. so while waiting for the right price or offer to come you will be making money from the parking revenue. but there are selling companies too. what they are after is to sell a domain name, take their commission and pay you the rest. below are parking and selling companies and the good news is that they all accept nigerians; afternic.com
sedo.com
bodis.com and
undeveloped.com

I used to have 20+ domains, all for blogs I was running at the time. I sold most of them off though years ago, as it was becoming too much work to update every single one. So I took it down to a more manageable 8 domains. All of which I update daily with news and good stuff. I'm hoping to sell some of my older ones, and try investing in newer sites soon. Should be fun! :)

I don't have any domain name and am just trying to get one domain name though I don't know how to go about it, if anyone known kindly explain better to me I would appreciate that.

I have 6 domains with the godaddy and 5 domains with the namecheap. And for me that works out pretty well. Considering the domains have cheap price in each of those accounts. And also I have renewed them for few more years as well. So It seems like these domains works out for me. I think I am going to avoid buying domain next year.

Right now I only have 30, some have never had a website on them and I don't know why I'm holding them....lol At one point I have 2500+ domains when I was single and there were more one word/two word domains around. Most I would throw up a simple site and sell them. I used to run a very popular "adult" forum and I sold that for $30k and one other adult advertising site I sold for more. I got out of the adult area and focus more on real estate now.

I never got access before to an unused domain name. I have only one domain name for my website. I will only have addiction domain name, when I create another website. For a different purpose all together, for now, I'm not think about it.
