You might have seen almost all websites have their own search boxes. What do you think about them? Do you have one of those on your websites?

I personally would like to keep them on all my websites. Especially when I am trying to reduce the bounce rate. If you don't have a search box they might go to web search again and potentially loose that person forever. So I think its pretty wise to have that box.

Also if you're having a really huge websites with a lot of contents, this search box is a must. Otherwise there would be no way to find out the old content in case anyone wants that!

If you're running a forum, then search bar is a must, because there are tons of topics and it'd be a pain having to check each and every single one to find something you're looking for. Otherwise I don't think that search bar is essential, unless you've got a lot of information and tons of pages on your website.

But what about blogs with guides or blogs like coolfacts.in?
I guess its good to have this search option in these kind of websites too.
