We can't all be at the desk 24/7 and monitoring if the website has decided it's time to take a nap or not. So, with that in mind, how do you monitor that status of your website so that if it does go down, you're in the know and not leaving it there inaccessible? I know there are quite a few 'status' websites out there like Pingdom/StatusCake and such and I'm sure there are many more out there somewhere.

So, which ones do you use and why that one?

I have wordpress site and I use jetpack for my sites. The best thing about jetpack is it continuously monitors your website performance. When your site is down, it will send you an email immediately.

I see Jetpack as what you can use to monitor your site. it always send email to you whenever your site get down. But when you are asleep I don't think there is any possible way to track

I get to find out if my site is down by trying to access the website from a neutral device so that I will know if the website opens or not and if it does not load, I will find all solution to it.

I guess the best way to know your site is down is one you should always turn on your notification tone so with that you will be receiving update as people do comment in it.
