It is quite appalling these days to see how people engage in gambling without knowing that they are addicted already. The moment you realize that you cannot do without it for a day and you always think about it, then you should know that you are already addicted.

Also, when you realize that you are using funds meant for something else to gamble compulsively, then you are addicted. And it is very important that you start taking necessary steps to curb that addiction.

It is very simple to know that you have been addicted to gambling. Whenever you use the money you could have used in solving your life's problems to gamble then you need to realise that you have been addicted. There is also a very huge urge to bet all the time.

You have urges constantly at school at dinner table at work all the time you think about gambling you can even skip work only to gamble there are stages of gambling addiction severe addiction is very hard to treat

Actually I think it depends on individuals and people I believe there several ways to which you can find out.

You may be spending too much money on the issue of bet or gambling of which you have been used to doing before.

The easiest way to know you have a gambling addiction is when you get to the point where all you think about is gambling, you are willing to do anything just to get the needed cash, you would even rather stay in hunger just so you can bet.

It is possible to detect your gambling addiction when it becomes inevitable to you. When you cannot do without playing gambling daily. When you find yourself, betting excessively in order to become rich overnight.

Some signs that may indicate a gambling addiction are loss of control, preoccupation with gambling, increased tolerance, chasing losses, restlessness and irritability, neglecting responsibilities, financial problems, concealing or lying about gambling, emotional distress.

It's very to tell if addiction of anything has set in. By the time you feel you're no longer comfortable when you've not carried out a particular thing and you're ready to give anything in order to get it done then addiction is around.

I believe that the way you are going to know you have a gambling addiction is when you are already in the level of even using the money that is not your own to gamble with the intention of being able to double the money in a very short time.

Yup addiction can lead to really serious issues people that are addicted gamble whatever they can they even don't go to work so they can gamble and gamble people who understands that they have addicted have higher chance to heal sadly most people aren't aware of that

Actually some might not even know that they are getting addicted to gambling because they don't have concerns about it.

You will become willing and always ready to gamble with any amount of money you have.

I think some gamblers don't even know they are addicted to gambling. They may even be winning small cash prizes here and there. In reality though, gaming addicts need to find help and they need it fast, otherwise they will continue to gamble their funds away.

The best thing you can do, is get professional help. See a therapist, get away from casino, away from the gambling sites etc.

It is so difficult whenever someone is addicted to gambling for him to stop even when he or she is no longer on a winning streak. I don't understand why it usually like that because under normal circumstances, you are supposed to take a break from something that you are not benefiting anything from but gamblers don't seem to do so.

It's very simple that you can detect this by simply noticing that you always gamble with the last money in your pocket that is a clear sign to notice you are gambling addicted

Exactly! It's very correct and it's even worse to the point where the person who involves in gambling to go to the extent of borrowing money from another person and use it right away for gambling purposes. It's how they get in debt too much.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for bringing up such an important topic. It's true, recognizing a gambling addiction can be tricky, but it's great that you're shedding light on it. If thoughts of gambling consume your mind and you find it hard to go a day without it, that's a red flag. In this case, in order to avoid negative consequences, it is better to use what are no deposit free spins, as it allows you to reduce the risk of losing a large sum of money. In many ways it helps to fight the negative side of gambling. So I think that you will succeed with a responsible approach.

If you lose $10 today and the next day you bet $20 in order to recover your previous day's loss as well as make additional profit, and you continue to double your bets in the hope to recover your loss, you are addicted to gambling. Casinos are designed in a way that majority of people will lose money.

I think that borrowing money in order to gamble money could be the worst thing a person do. This increases the chances of bad debt and what's quite worst is the fact that you must also pay interest if you borrow money. Even if you "win" money while gambling, you will end up paying heavy interest, which is very bad.

Self-awareness and the following indicators are necessary to identify a gambling addiction: 1. A lack of self-control when gambling 2. An addiction to gambling 3. Ignoring obligations because of gambling pursuing losses 5. Fabricating or concealing gambling habits 6. Taking out loans to gamble. If this applies to you, getting expert assistance is essential for dealing with your gambling addiction.
