Being a forum owner comes with a lot of challenges. If you have a team of staff members working for you on your community, there's always a possibility there's gonna be a conflict one day among your staff members. It's a normal thing that happens when two or more persons come together. If you find yourself in this situation, how will you go about handling it?

As a forum owner, addressing conflicts among staff members requires prompt action and effective communication. I would encourage open dialogue to understand the concerns of each party involved. Creating a safe environment for discussion, facilitating compromise, and setting clear guidelines and expectations can help resolve conflicts.

I usually reach out to each person having the disputes and hear from both sides. I then look into the arguments on the forums or anything that was in the open, and go from there. If there isn't anything major, I warn both person to cut it off.

Sometimes there's no winning, and you have to sort of side with someone. Or get them away from each other by putting them on different areas of the forum. Or even let one of them take time away from the forum for a bit.

Handling conflicts among staff members on a forum requires careful consideration and a fair approach. The goal is to maintain a positive and harmonious environment for the forum community.

Having an open dialogue with both of the staff that are into conflict is something that is always going to work out very well because you will give both of them the opportunity to make their point openly and you hear them out before you know exactly how to tackle the issue and have everything sorted out instead of listening to them privately individually.
