You've got a name for your website, blog or forum, what do you consider in buying your first domain? What's the first thing that comes to mind?

Well, I use Jcink and it automatically has the Jcink subdomain attached to it. I thought about purchasing jcodes.com if it was available, but my friend talked me out of it because she thinks the default Jcink domain is short enough already and easy to remember. I know custom domains can be good for SEO, but I figured I'd save some money in the meantime and stick with the default domain.

I personally pick the most commonly used ones like .com or .net TBH without racking my brains for a unique an original name for it.

Considering the fact that I don't have any site of my own talkless of the domain, but I think is not a bad idea to buy a domain from someone.

I think about domain name protection. As no one could have the same name different extensions of the forum.

Considering that I don't own a website, let alone a domain, I believe purchasing a domain from someone is not a bad idea.
