One thing about tech is that they can crash on you at anytime especially when you don't run maintenance regularly on them. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you're working on your forum and suddenly your computer crashed? Do you take care of fixing the PC yourself or look for an expert to help you do it?

Since I always have at least 6 desktops at home available (Linux, MacOS, Windows).. never had a negative impact from it.

I think computer crashes may have happened a few times while I was coding scripts a long time ago, so I lost all of the work that I had put into it. I was trying to start my computer up today and got the black screen of death, now I'm using a spare computer I thankfully had. If it's a simple fix, I'll probably fix the issue myself, but if it's complex, I'll probably just hop on a different computer in the household and finish my work there and worry about fixing the crashed computer later on.

I have post drafts save every 60s, so I don't lose too much.

But then again, my PC has a UPS battery backup in case power goes out. My Modem/Router also has their own UPS backup as well which should give 3 or so hr of net.

Saving posts as drafts helps if you're posting for sure! I used to hate when I was working on the forum coding and then my computer crashed because maybe I didn't hit save. I would just log back on and do it though. Now a days I think I would keep coding in a google doc because of the autosaving and work on it there so I don't lose anything.
