There is no doubt that social media is important for connecting with old friends or even people you just met and it has proven to be a tool for reviving old relationships and building new ones, but social media also has it bad sides which I fear is doing more harm. I know of people who no longer have real lives, everything about them is put on the internet regardless of whatever it is they are doing, they have sort of lost their sense of privacy.... and this has destroyed a lot of homes.

I Would like to know, how do you balance your social life and your normal everyday life?

Social media has dominated the whole world, infact many people practically live and breathe on social media, for me the way I balance it is to take everything with a pinch of salt. I don't get carried away with all the glitz and glamour, I am on social media solely for business purposes. Also I limit the time I spend online.

We need to limit our posting. It is not necessary every thing in your life is posted. If you are not a vlogger or youtuber then you should not flaunt your life. You need privacy sometime. It's necessary to be private sometime. What if a criminal is watching you and waiting for the perfect moment then you are done.

As good and important social media is, one of its major disadvantage is the ability to engage for long time. As someone who is aspiring to because great in life, one needs to set his priority right and know what is good for him at a particular point in time. Some have nothing important they are doing on social media only to be charting and be engaging in the matter that doesn't concern them. This activities will engage them and get the best of them that they won't have anything to point to as their achievement at the end of the day. One needs to balance the both, st the time for social media and the time to face your life matter. It's very important.

So many people have allowed what is happening in the social media circle to influence their lives and this is very bad. It is a wrong thing to spend all your lives in social media. Always try to strike a balance in whatever you are doing.

Social media lifestyle and real life styles are two different kinds of world. People tend most often to be very fake on social media than in their real life. I interact as much as I can on Facebook mainly but not for long at all.

Here are some ways you can balance social media with real life. Limit your usage. There's really no good reason to be checking social media sites more than once or twice a day. Remember the value of real-life interactions. Treat people like people. Find new hobbies

I think it's difficulty to balanced because now this time everyone in our work but social media connection with friends and family members every one have no time meet in real face to face but meet in online through social media now a time teacher and student also meeting in online I think in future family members also meet in social media it's different from the real life

It is important to know and to keep remembering that not everything you see on social media is true/real. Some of them are made up.
A lot of people live fake lives on social media so as to get wide acceptance and validation.

You should be careful of this lots as they tend to push others doing what is not morally right just because they want to get similar societal validation.

Be wise.

It is true that social media is better way to promote the business. We have many business purposes . Make true these purposes we use social media . Social media is the best platform where we can advertise their business. So without social media it is very difficult to promote every thing related to our business . We have not enough time to promote our products.

Balancing it depends on your addiction to social media and the level of time at your disposal. If you are a very busy person offline, then social media time will be low .if you have more free time, then your free time for social media could be high.

Sometime ago, I had to uninstall Facebook from my phone simply because it was taken almost all of my time. I was getting addicted and needed a break or a complete stop. Setting priorities can help one manage real life and social life evenly. I have designated amount of time I spend on social media and when the time is up,I do not push further.

Staying long on social media can't be understood as a single person but when one is married then there need to be some adjustments. Even when one is single there should be some limitations to what one can post on the internet to avoid evil eye because the truth of the matter is a lot of people don't mean welll for those who are doing good. So posting should be limited by oneself

I'm not really a social media person. Even though I love chatting with my friends, but that's through WhatsApp or telegram. It's been after 3 months I posted a picture on Facebook, I used to be a social media freak until I started looking for a way to make money. So make money online has really impacted my social media life.

Balancing my social life with my real life have never been an easy job for me naturally. I am not a social person but my family members and friends are really social, so whenever the invite me for events and I do not attend it becomes a problem, but you do not understand that I don't feel comfortable with crowd.

Limit the time you spend on social media except you are earning from it. Know when you engage tweets or chat and know when not to if it will unnecessarily consume your time. Social media should not takeover your daily activities

Social media is very different from real life. Have you not noticed that people only post the good things about them or when something good happens to them. Social media is filled with fake lifestyle. But real life is not always so.

Limit your usage. There's really no good reason to be checking social media sites more than once or twice a day. Remember the value of real life interactions. Treat people like people. Take extended breaks.

Basically, we spend over half our days plugged in, and a mere five years ago we were spending twice as much time present in the physical world around us — whether it was going for walks, talking to others, or just looking out a window.
