How can a forum use machine learning or AI to improve user experience?

I know AI is something that is split among people. I am for AI when it's use sparingly, as in used to help improve something. So maybe in this case, it's to improve a users experience. Would you ever utilize AI and machine learning to help make a better user experience for all of your audience? What AI tools would you use to help with your forum? Maybe adding a chatbot right into the site itself? What do you think?
