I have not only hired content creators for my blogs but also on forums. While paying for content definitely increases your website maintenance budget but on a positive note, your website will also have fresh content and get some traffic regular traffic (because your content creators will regularly visit your website). However, there is also a downside to hiring paid content creators. You might end up paying a lot of money and also get low-quality content as some people are always looking forward to milking the system. That's why I do not hire content creators on a regular basis and I hire them as needed.

It's a great way to draw in an audience and help bring in possibly new members. If you can get influencers, especially those on YouTube, you may be able to get some decent traffic from that. But once that influencer is gone, that traffic will take a dip most likely.

I am not sure if we can get traffic through youtube influencers. However, I do believe you can get traffic from Facebook and Twitter influencers provided they are in the same niche. For instance, if you have a game niche website and if you get a shoutout from a gamer on facebook and Twitter, you can definiately get decent traffic. I have done this multipole time.s

You can do your best to eliminate the possibilities of getting low quality contents by making sure you hire A-Level content writers. Their rates might be higher but you will be getting high quality contents.

The only downside I see with hiring paid content writers is they don't have any affiliations to your forum. They won't pop in to make any unless they are getting paid for it.

Getting low quality contents will always be the downside of hiring some content creators that don't want to do their all.

I have noticed that once people put in their all, they can be able to create interactive contents that a lot of other members will want to engage on too.

If you're always look for cheaper contents writers to hire for posting jobs in your forum, 99% of your forum contents will be low quality. Low quality contents will drive away traffic from your forum because your users won't like to stay and read contents with no value.

It is not about how much you are paying, it is about sincerity. When someone decides to work on a forum for x amount, he already knows he will only earn x amount, therefore, it is not justifiable of him to post low quality because he has already agreed to work on that rate.

Yes on the sincerity, I witnessed it in @The Hulk Movies forum when it was active. He hired a poster(Stardom) from Forum Promotion who agreed to post for a small pay because he wants to beat the rate price on Forum Promotion. After he's made a few trash post, he was banned in the forum and subsequently banned on Forum Promotion.
