Highest Amount You Paid For a Domain

In 2016, I bought a lot of domains in the hope to sell them later. Since I was unable to sell them, I had to renew the domains in 2017. Some of my domains cost me $35 for renewal. I had bought them on deals so the registration cost was really low but I did not realize the renewal cost would be so high. That was the maximum amount I have spent on a domain. What about you?

My first domain, a .org, I bought in 2002 for 2 years for £217. Obviously with inflation that's considerably more now.

In more recent times I spent $200 on a .directory domain not that long ago but that's because .directory is just more expensive. Other than that, I've not spent more than $20 on any domain.

The most I've ever spent on a domain name has only been around $20. I don't want to spend too much on a domain name, unless if I'm thinking about trying to flip it. However, in most cases I buy a domain name with the intention of making a website and not to sell it.

The freeforumhosting.com was the one I spent the most on. They asked 1200 USD for it and I stole it for 250USD.

I think whenever I was streaming and had a decent following on YouTube, I paid close to 40USD for a .gg domain but outside of that I haven't really paid more than 20USD for anything else.
