Many forums have added currency on their forums, but is it really needed? Do you have it on your forum? If so, what do you usually use the forum currency for on your own forum? Do you let users exchange it among themselves, or do you let your users purchase services or upgrades from the forum?

In my opinion, if it is currently only for the internal forum, it is not very important, because I already consider Biznotes as an internal currency, but if you have the purpose of a token being built on the blockchain, it can increase forum revenue if the token sells on the exchange and there are many users, I don't have a forum site but often work on online forums.

The fact that a forum can incorporate an internal currency makes it very nice for the forum to actually reward it's members and for a forum like Bizdustry, the biznotes is actually a great way to give incentives to it's members.

Many forums provide the facility to members when it comes to forum currencies. For example, forum members can avail services in exchange of forum currencies. I have never done that in the past. I usually just cashout my forum currencies because I never needed to avail services. However, I might avail services and exchange forum currencies in the future if required.

Yes many forums have it and normally they have different concept where you can use it. Like they use it for membership promotion, can be used for marketplace, can be use for members only section.

I don't have a forum at this moment but if I have a forum today or tomorrow I will create my own coin as well and allow everyone in my forum to be able to exchange it into anything the feel like is the best for them.

I have a general discussion forum and I think a forum currency system just makes it a little more fun. It's not a vital addition to the forum but it's always nice to offer something to your users that allows them to spend it on some virtual items to make their profiles look better. It sort of encourages people to post a bit more as well if they want things that can only be bought with that virtual currency.

At some point in the past in this very bizdustry forum, we were allowed to sell as well as exchange our biznotes for other services and also amongst members here. I think it should be reactivated again

When I had a forum, I did not have forum currency. But I think having a forum currency is a good idea provided the members can withdraw the currency.

I do not have a forum but one thing I would live to see on this forum is it's own crypto coin, I know it would do great because the management of this site is doing good.

Yeah many forum their currencies that is used for many purposes, even here on bizdustry you can donate your biznotes to another member that need it, but when donating you must write the reason of the donation or purpose i think is even simple and understandable, and all of us are benefitting from this donations we make amongst ourselves.

I don't have a forum and I don't own any forum currency since I don't own any forum. But think it.mihjt not really be necessary except if the forum owner has plans to make that forums currency a coin or token someday

I have created a forum recently, but I do not have forum currencies. The only reason why I do not have forum currency is because the forum is not yet open to regular posting.

I actually don't own a forum but I think those using currency on their forum a re allowing it to be used by members who will in turn be trading it among themselves.

I think the major essence of doing this is just because of the fact that it will make it possible for members on the forum to transact with one another without any hassles so far there won't be cheating among them

I think currencies In a forum kind of brings out the uniqueness of that forum. This forum for example is one that I love for such a thing.
