Have your social media account been hacked?

Hacking of social media accounts is getting out of hands lately. I've experienced so many attempts to hack my Facebook, Instagram and TikTok but the hacker wasn't successful.

Have any of your accounts been hacked? Were you able to recover the account?

My personal Twitter account was hacked once, my facebook friend who also followed me on Twitter immediately informed me and I changed my password. So, the hacking did not damage my reputation.

The only account of mine that was hacked was my Snapchat back in 2019.
Luckily I got notified straight away and changed the password.

My facebook was nearly hacked if not for my 2FA. I was notified immediately the attempt was made. I changed my password and used passkey too to protect the account.

Hackers breached my Facebook but I was very lucky to be online when it happened. I recovered it almost immediately, changed my password, recovery email and updated my 2FA with Google autenticator.

Thankfully, my social media accounts have never been hacked. I have never received any kind of messages saying someone was trying to get into my accounts. I frequently change my passwords and I never check my social sites through someone else device.
