Have you met any of your members in real life?

Running sites and forums can be fun, especially if you meet great people along the way. If you run a forum, I'm sure you have a lot of friends who go there often. I have never met someone from one of my forums or sites, or from online period. But, I think I'd like to meet some of my online friends down the road, especially the people who have worked for me on my forums, and those who have stuck by my forums all these years. Do you have friends from the sites/forums you run?

I have been posting on forums since 2015. I have been running online communities since 2017. However, I have never met any of my virtual friends in real life. Perhaps I will never met them because we are in different countries.

Aside from my family such as my mum and dad who have been on my forums in the past, I can't say I have met anyone else.

At the moment I am in a long-distance relationship with my other half and we did hope to meet before now but due to the pandemic and cost of living this was not possible unfortunately and we are still waiting. When that does happen, that will be the first person I have met from my forum who is not already part of my family.

No I've not met any of my forum mates yet but I wish I can at least once. It would be really great to gather in person and jam!!

Only Helena, I met once in a mall in the DFW area in Texas near where we live. She was down in the area anyway and since we ran a forum together and did various projects together, she wanted to meet me in person.

She pretty much summed up the plan Although, I do plan on hopefully meeting up with some streaming/forum buddies of mine at some point as well. So meeting up with Shortie definitely won't be the last time I met someone from a forum.

I have meet only one forum member in real life. It happened that he was in the same state with me and made a comment about it on a messaging board. We talked on the post and agreed to meet. We exchanged contact and linked up. He was a very nice guy and we have been friends since then. We have met a couple of times after that day.

I have not met any of my virtual friends as many of them do not live within my vicinity or even my country of origin. But most we only interact through the social media handles such as Facebook..

I have meet some of my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and gaming friends in real life. There was a group we created and so many users join and we organized a very big hangout which all those interested paid $30 each. It was a very fun filled event that day and I enjoyed myself.

I have not met many in real life as they are living in different countries. I had a mod that I used to work with in 2019 staying in Dubai and when I visited in 2021, I couldn't see him because we lost contacts and any plan to get in touch didn't work out as planned. That was the closest that I was to seeing a staff that I worked with.

I have a friend that I met in a game like that. The game was Top Eleven Football Manager. We have been so close but it's so sad that we live miles apart. He's in Netherlands and I'm in South Africa at the moment but I'm from Nigeria. The very day I find myself in Holland, there's no way I wouldn't meet up with him.

I've not meet any of my forum members in person, it's impossible for this to happen and that's why I don't consider the possibility of it becoming a reality. I would be happy to meet my staffs in person and have an outing with them. We will get along easily because we relate well online.
