Have you ever used stumbleupon for marketting?

I have used it and found useful on one of my website. This website is about movie quotes and whenever I submit something from this website to stumbleupon, lots of people come and visit my website. One day it went like almost 3000 stumbleupon referrers!

It hasn't worked for any of my other websites. I guess it works when the content is related to entertainment or some kind of weird videos and not anything else. I don't know I might be wrong.

So let us hear about your experiences!

No, I have a site in my native language, and stumbleupon is not that popular in my country.

Well you guys should try it out. Interesting stuffs have more chance to go viral compared to all other social sharing stuffs imo.

proboards has a social network button for like 40 - 50 networks, i had a stumbleupon account so used it for all my posts, got hits everytime, but i use hootesuite now
