Well, I once also taught my cousin, 5 years older than me. He did not pay me cash but bought me a lot of clothes. So, I was paid indirectly.
In my home country, home tutoring is a lucrative profession. You can earn more money tutoring a couple of students compared to teaching in school.

I once did home tutoring in couple years back. It was a nice one as that was the only thing I did back then as my source for income and that enable me dedicate much time and efforts to the work.

The boy was becoming great in just few days of starting, I now came to realise some kid needs a conducive sometimes less crowded environment for them to really improve in their education.

I am also not a really huge fan of tutoring someone. I have never considered it ever. There are many reasons for that. Teaching someone is a really big responsibility. You may never be able to fulfil this responsibility in case if you get students who are not willing to learn.

Hey, I was just wondering if you guys have any idea how much it would cost for a home tutor , I`m way north of Helsinki, so I presume it would be a little cheaper than if i was in Helsinki? I would like to take classes but i`m away (even further north) Mon - Thurs with work. So that`s not an option. Cheers!

I do not know what's it like in Finland. I live in Kathmandu and you can get at least $100 per month for the class of one hour. This is the basic pay scale
