Have you ever switched your business to something else?

Was there ever a time where you completely changed your business? Maybe it was originally a shop, but then you changed it to a business that offers services instead. Or you sell different items. Have you ever made a huge change like this with your business? Would you if needed?

I had business that have evolved into something else, but the changes has been smooth through time and somewhat related
to the original business.
If those changes happen too quick and transformed into unrelated from the original business, then you just started a new business.

No, I have never done that but I know people who have switched their business to other things. I have a distant relative who switched his business with a property (land and house). Another relative switched business with automobiles. THis is a common practice in my part of the world.
