There are many companies that require you to sign a legal job contract before you join the company. I was also given one such kind of contract when I applied for a job at a company. It was a really lengthy document. So, would you be comfortable with that?

I have never signed any legal contract when I worked offline. Well, there were provisions for legal contract, but I was not asked to sign it. However, while working online, I have signed non discloser agreement a couple of time.s

There is no how a company will decide to employ you without asking you to sign a legal contract should incase something happen in the future such as when you decide to run away with the company's property. I can't fathom why any company will want to hire a staff without having a legal contract being signed by both parties.

Exactly! Companies are always looking out for their business with having their workers sign such legal documents. This gives them the right prosecute any of their workers who breach the terms in the legal documents.

This is also why they make workers provide credible guarantors to back them. These guarantors would be held responsible should anything go wrong.
