Have you ever made money reading books?

There are some websites that pay you to read a book and then leave a review of the book, many writers leave their books for free there for some readers to read them and leave their ratings, I worked for a while writing reviews for onlinebookclub, do you think this is a good way to earn some money?

Amazon has a book reading program called ACX, you can read books and earn money, this program is basically to convert books and ebooks into audio books. I have not tried it because I am not a native speaker. Even though the say beginners can apply and no experience needed, and even offer leaning course called ACX university, I do not think this program is for beginners.
