Before purchasing a premium domain name and hosting, I had opted for free webhosting with sub domain name. That was a grave mistake on my part. The 000 web hosting and the one before that, didn't allow me take my website files before they closed down my website( as it was getting high traffic and always getting 503 service error).

I had to start again from the scratch and finally I purchased a premium domain and hosting to get the complete control and not to lose all my files again. Did it even happen to you guys?

How would you deal with such situations?

You're very lucky not to lose all the file in your previous website. I recently abaddon my website that was created on free platform. I have posted close to ten articles on the website before I abaddon because I'm not pleased with how it's performing. I wanted to start from scratch again. To me, starting from scratch is not a problem. Its an avenue to correct past error.

I did lose all my previous files in both the free hosting providers. To be honest, I tried very hard to get them back and they asked me to upgrade my account to a premium account( and to pay for 1 year hosting).

I was sure I wouldn't be using that hosting in the long run and I never trusted them enough to not to delete my website completely.

So, I said goodbye to free webhosting after that. Even if I don't get any revenue, I don't mind paying extra bucks for a reliable hosting provider to keep all my files safe but those hosting providers were never in my reliable list, after that.

Well I think anyone that has not face such a faith then he is very lucky not to lose all the file in his previous website. I recently abaddon my website that was created on free platform. I think that you may need to start every thing from scratch certain times when you find out that the website you planned to build was never perfect in the first place.

I did it many times when I wanted to start doing online jobs, the payment methods disappointed me many times but I didn't give up and started from the scratch.

When you discover that the website you had planned to construct was never great in the first place, I believe that there are instances when you may need to start everything over from scratch.

I created a website long time ago and i wanted to install advertisement plugins on that website. However, it never went as planned. I have to start it all over if I ever want to start a new website.

it has happened to me on various occasions but it was base on my ignorance or lack of know how. i started web development using google free hosting, blogspot but migrating to a premium do main was always my issue.

Consistency, hard work and dedication makes a successful being. I try hard again and again , starting from the scratch multiple trying to become a verified member in a site that pays huge amount. At last I was finally verified . giving up while still having opportunity is never a final decision

Yes, working hard is the main aspect of becoming successful, but it all depends on the nature of job and circumstances as well. It also depends on your skill as well.

That's for sure. It's ones said that who works hard will always by pass who rely on being talent and not working hard.Have you ever had of it? Did you believe that?

That is such a bad experience I believe though it's inevitable in all business but it can be controlled or managed. when you invest in a business and it failed, definitely you moat have to start again.

I have started again and again since my bad staff tried to cheat my I had no experience about it

Well, if you've never faced such beliefs, I'm glad you didn't lose all the files from your old website. I recently abandoned my own girlfriend website built on a free platform. Unsatisfied with his performance, he posted nearly 10 articles on the site before quitting. I wanted to start over. Starting from scratch is not a problem for me. It's a way to correct past mistakes

I would always keep a back up for my website because I may need old data at any time. This may be required in case I transfer old data and transfer my site to a new domain.

The pandemic then took almost everything i have and i have to start from the beginning after the pandemic. It wasn't something easy then as i face so many challenges but i thank God now

What a terrible experience. Although I think it's unavoidable in every firm, it can still be managed or under control. Once you invest in a venture, but it fails, you must unquestionably start over.

It occurred to me on several times, although it was due to my naivety and insufficient knowledge. I began web development with WordPress, but switching to a premium domain was always a problem for me, for some reason.

Starting again might be a really hard thing to do from an emotional point of view. Just imagine building things gradually and losing each and every thing in a blink of eye.
