Have you ever had to help someone else with their finances? Like maybe you had to take control and help monitor the finances. Help make sure they don't overspend, and make sure all important bills are paid off in due time. I don't think I'd ever want to deal with someone else's finances. Could you?

Was there ever a time where you had to take control of someone's finances? Maybe it was a relative who no longer could take care of themselves, or you had to take care of someone's finances due to a medical emergency. Have you ever had to take control? For how long? Did the person ever get control back?

Truth being told! Financial matters of people are actually their personal matters and i am quite sure that they never discuss these things with others. Owners of big companies usually hire accountants in order to deal with the finances related to the company. Rarely they hire a personal accountant that helps them to manage personal accounts.

No, I have never been in such kind of situation. However, I have tried to manage my own accounting system and tried my best to handle things myself. I am trying to create a better accounting system that would make it possible for me to handle accounts each month. I am not interested in handling someone's else's account s of now.

This is something I am still doing at this moment because there are still some of my family members who can not be able to take care of their financial needs and I am the one that is supporting them in any way that I can so that they can be able to still survive and take care of their needs.

It is not easy being able to take care of your own responsibilities and also having to carry other people's responsibilities.

It is something I am facing currently with taking care of some of my family members responsibilities. It's in in a way that I cannot be able to stop doing it because no one is going to do it for them.

Technically speaking, you can never help anyone with their finances. You might give money to manage their finances, but you do want your money to be returned, right. So, these people who receive money form you need to work hard to return money. Most of the time people do not use money in a proper way. Well, I have helped people with finances but my monetary offer was of not great use.

Well, I have never been in control of anyone's finances. I control only my finances, I also control my business finances. In order to control someone's finances, you need to be a financial advisor, which I am not. I am a normal person with normal skills related to managing finances.

During my virtual assistant program, one of the weeks require that we should manage the finances of somebody for one week and then draught everything into Excel. It was actually a very good experience and I got to understand that these are one of the things that can help you to stay organised.

It is actually going to take a lot of trust for someone to have you be in charge of managing their own account because a lot of people find it very difficult not to embezzle money that is given to them to manage and control for another person. This is why most people don't give other people access to manage their account.

This is practically the reason why I don't loan money to anyone especially when I know it is going to be very difficult and challenging for the person to pay it back when the person is supposed to.
I just choose to gift a specific amount of money to the person in a way that I know that even if it is not returned, I'm not going to feel bad about it.

Technology has not made it easier for you to trust somebody with this kind of information. There are so many people who offer this kind of services even from a remote location and they are being paid very handsomely of up to $30 per hour.

I have learnt some very hard lessons from a few people when it comes to lending money. You have to be somebody who is extremely close to me or you must have to have a very concrete reason before I can borrow you money. And I have to be very sure that you have a means of paying back.

Yes. I had to help my parents. I had to list off all their debts and help them process that they needed to file for bankruptcy. It was a mess. between the two of them, they were bringing in over $6,000 yet they were scraping by for things like food. Turns out they had $3,700 just in credit card debt.

Well, you can always help someone else's finances without the need to lend money or anything like that, you can always make recommendations or advice to make better use of their money, to try not to get into debt or to invest their money better or with savings tips, finances can be improved in many ways and you can help in many ways too, borrowed money is really nothing more than one more obstacle to your finances or those of others.

I do not think giving advice would actually help people to manage their finances. In the digital age, people already have access to knowledge and information, however, some people cannot use the information and knowledge they gather in their best interest. One of the common examples you can see is regarding the topic of making money online, a lot of people have access to information on how to make money online but they simply don't use these methods.

Recently, I was watching a vlog where a husband was saying that he manages his wife's finances because she overspends on shopping.

Then I saw him giving his wife her debit card during the vlog, which she probably gave him to control her urge to spend.

It means his wife is comfortable sharing her finances with her husband and trusts her. I think such cases are quite rare.

I understand your point and I share it to a large extent, but as always there are exceptions and there are people who do use the information, for example I knew almost nothing about finance until I decided to investigate how to improve it and look for information mostly online, I think it is more important to want to change something and have the purpose of doing it (then you will use the information properly) than simply reading the information or asking for help without really wanting to change anything, I think that the most important thing in the end is the attitude.

I also understand your point of view. Human beings are great learners. The best example is how we were able to evolve from apes. However, in order to improve your finances, you must be open-minded by not only listening to advice but also implementing the advice you receive. sadly, a lot of people do not implement things that are necessary for improving finances. The gest example can be seen in Africa. The entire continent is suffering financially even though these coun tries receive a huge financial assistance.

Without mutual trust you can't do that I have work in an establishment where I was appointed to manage the fund and finance of the firm but really serious after short period of time I was told to quite that position to avoid problems, since some time the finance of that firm will be tempt but when I complained to the management they cant take appropriate action, thus living all the fault on me so I have to vacate that position
