Have you ever had an exotic pet?

Have you ever had an exotic pet? I haven't owned an exotic pet myself, but I did have canaries when I was a kid, and that was really about it. What about you though? I think there is a limit to what kind of pet you can get when it's considered exotic. This means no endangered species or animals that aren't good in living in a pet like environment. Anyway, what do you guys think? Would you ever get an exotic pet as long as it's legal?

No I have not had any exotic pet but my friend had a parakeet with those lovely plumage.

I never have had any kind of exotic pet, I always had pets that are more common as pets. In fact I am against keeping exotic pets. We don't know much about these animals and they might transfer diseases.

I don't know if you can call a parrot an exotic pet, because they have been common pets for a long time. I had a parrot when I was still at school, unfortunately it didn't live long but I had a lot of fun and I think one day I will get another parrot
