How a customer contacted a business is what would leave their identity behind. If they contacted your business using their social media account, they've left their identity to your business. They can be contacted through their account. It will be hard for them to hide.

Thanks a lot for pointing this out. By the term "private", I refer to the kind of business which is not known to many people. You may have private clients who may know about your business, but generally the public and other people may not know much about the business.

I have actually conducted my business privately because I'm not going to be announcing each and every business transaction I am making with a customer for every other person to see. Whenever I'm dealing with a customer, it is something that I do privately until the business transaction have been completed.
