Have the recent Twitter rate limits negatively impacted your recent traffic?

Is Twitter still worth investing in as a social media for site owners? I am thinking of restarting my Twitter account to drive traffic to my website and some items I would like to sell, but I'm wondering if the platform is a fool's errand right now.

For reference, the current Twitter rate limits are:
10,000 for verified (paid)
1,000 for unverified
500 for new unverified.

Have you tried to bypass the rate limit (using Google extensions or other means)? Do you find Twitter frustrating to use?

I have over a dozen Twitter accounts, I have Twitter accounts for my self as well as my websites, and online businesses. I have a couple of accounts that have more than 10k followers, but most of my Twitter accounts have less than 1k followers. I also do not follow a lot of accounts. I have small audience, therefore, Twitter limits do not have any effect on me.
