Sometimes domains expire and you need to re-apply for them. Usually that means just continuing to pay a monthly fee for them. But, there are people out there who are looking for domains to grab once they expire. Usually domain services will warn you when your domain is to expire, but once it expires, I'm pretty sure it puts that domain up for sale. But I could be wrong, as I always pay my fees before that date comes.

Anyway, have you ever had to deal with someone trying to purchase a domain you used?

You're very correct. domain services will warn you when your domain is to expire, but once it expires, it will be place on for sale. I have seen several sites like that. This is actually a normal thing in the internet world

I'm a domainer and it's always easy for me to buy and sell my domain at the shortest possible time because I buy hot and short domain name that is relevant to different INDUSTRY. With these method it's always easy for me to breakthrough

Yes, sometime ago my domain got finished and at the time I was very low on cash due to some personal finances issues, so I couldn't renew my domain immediately. After getting some cash and I was ready to pay for my domain I was told that someone has taken it, after much complain I was told there was nothing I could do that I should have notified them earlier, I was so angry.

I think this happens quite a lot especially if you are into buying and selling or domain. In your case, it looks like you are talking about your personal website. Then it's actually possible if the buyer finds value in your domain. It's a common occurrence to have businesses with similar names and with you having an expired domain. He would prefer to have yours instead of starting a website from scratch.

I don't have a domain yet ,but if someone tries to take up my domain, there I factors I'll consider before leaving my domain for another person.these factors are factors that will affect me positively in next 30 years . I'll heck ,then consider giving if possible.

I am yet to have a paid domain of mine, most of the time, i have always used free package website creators like blogger, woocommerce, wix and more, i hope to have a paid ecommerce website which will serve me forever, therefore, i would definitely keep renewing my subscription to prevent it from expiring because i would not want to lose something important.

I have never sold a domain, however, I have sold numerous website (domains included). Years ago, I bought a lot of domains in a hope to make money from domain flipping. I find selling website easier compared to selling domain.

I would like to try my hands on buying and selling domains, however, in order to buy and sell domains, I need a lot of money as I will have to buy a lot of domains and hold them for a long time.

You may try with just one domain. YOu can get a dot com for $10 and and spend another $10 to list on flippa. If you managed to sell you can earn at least $100 from your domain. However, you need a domain with commercial value.

Last year, i was lucky to have sold three domain names on GoDaddy auction. But this year, i have gotten many inquiry but not yet made a sale.

Really me and my friends have found it much more easier to sell websites than just actual domains. If you buy a domain especially one related to a course, you can develop it then list it. It is much more easier to make money.

A particular guy tried to buy my domain around last week but the price he offered to pay wask kind of outrageous, I had to decline the offer immediately.

When I was 16 years old I had a domain for the first time, somebody wanted to buy it, but I refused to sell it out because it was very important to me

I don't have my own domain name yet but I plan on buying some domains within this week and if it happens that someone want to buy my domain of course if I don't see any important uses for the domain name I will sell it off at a very expensive price.

Of course if you have learn something about domain flipping you will definitely know that you don't need to leave your domain to expire. There are several people looking for expired domains to buy immediately it gets expired.

Although I don't have one domain or site at this very moment, but if possible I have one tomorrow I know that I have to pay my bills before the first payment run out I guess.

I do not deal with domain although I have a plan to go into that but I do not have a good mentor to guide me through, I know I can get it from GoDaddy and name cheap but I don't know the procedure that is necessary for me to carry out this action and what are the things I should consider before buying a domain, someone should help me.

I have never received offer for my domains even though I have tried to sell my domains via a various platforms. When I see a silly sounding domain name selling for higher price, I am always surprised

Well as u have said it clear domains will try to notify you whenever it is close to it expiring date for you to renew if you wish. I not renewed before expired their are alot of people out in the digital market waiting so any form of mistakes of lack of renewing so they can take advantage immediately.
