Has a site of yours ever been taken over by authorities?

I remember back in the day when I would surf sites that would let you download music, sometimes you'd see they were caught by authorities, and would often put up a sign saying this site was taken over by the FBI or some police force in the US. Anyway, has this ever happened to your site? I hope not of course, but I Imagine there are some people out there who were wrongfully closed down temporarily because of such things.

Also, I don't condone downloading music from any sites, just was curious about those who may have and got caught. Were you ever able to make a site again? I imagine you couldn't make the same kind of site though. Duh!

My sites have never been taken down by authorities. My sites are hosted on foreign servers, therefore, even if the authorities try, they cannot take down my websites. They can of course block my domain but blocking dopmains is not a big problem as the website can be easily accessed through VPN. Well, I do not cater to local audiences, therefore, it does not affect me. But then I also do not get involved with illegal activities.

I can't say that a site that I have owned has ever been taken down by authorities but I do remember seeing it a lot many years ago and it was usually as you stated, for things such as downloading music or even TV shows and movies illegally and the site in question was taken down.

I don't tend to see it as much now though.
