Handful of iPhones against billions of Android, still..

Apple beats Google in terms of profits even though they sell a very small number of products when compared to billions of Android phones and Google users. Why do you think it is possible? If someone is selling a few million against billions, how are they so profitable?

Apple makes direct revenue from the iPhone (and all of the iphone accessories).

Google provides the Android operating system for free. They don't earn any direct revenue, but they keep you within the Google ecosystem.

Sometimes I feel they charge too much for repair and accessories.
